Our purpose
About Us
We exist to enrich and advance the lives of our students.
Casa Infantil Montessori is a bilingual Montessori school in El Paso. Our name means “children’s house,” after Casa dei Bambini, the name Dr. Maria Montessori gave her first classroom in Rome in 1907: a place made for children, where they can do things for themselves.
Our motto, “Raíces que transforman” (roots that transform), is the heart of everything we do. The habits, relationships, and love of learning children build in their first years become roots that carry them for the rest of their lives.
From our youngest infants to our Lower Elementary students, every classroom is guided by the same Four Roots of Growth.
Casa Infantil Montessori is accredited by Cognia, a global nonprofit that accredits schools.
Our Four Roots of Growth
Rooted in Connection. Driven by Purpose. Growing with Confidence. Guided by Community.
Connection
Children thrive when they feel known, secure, and connected to their environment, their peers, and the adults who guide them.
Purpose
Children discover that their work, choices, and contributions have meaning and make a difference in the world around them.
Community
Children learn that they belong, that they are valued, and that they have a responsibility to others, fostering kindness, respect, and cooperation.
Growth
Children are supported toward independence, confidence, knowledge, and their fullest potential, developing skills for today and tomorrow.

See a classroom at work
The best way to understand Montessori is to see it. Visit with your child and watch children choose, focus, and work with real purpose.
